Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and drive shift-left security across the software development lifecycle.

You will design and enforce secure-by-default pipelines, build security guardrails, and collaborate with engineering, architecture and platform teams to reduce vulnerabilities before production. This is a high-impact role at a leading healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years in information security and risk management.
• Experience with CI/CD security, SAST/DAST/ SCA.
• Strong knowledge of HITRUST/NIST/ISO security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead security program in SDLC with shift-left approach.
• Define and enforce security gates in CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor teams and develop secure coding standards.
• Provide security posture briefings and metrics.
• Collaborate with architecture, software delivery enablement, and platform teams.
