Job summary

enGen is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team. This role focuses on building security into the software development lifecycle from the first line of code to production deployment.

You will work at the intersection of security engineering and architecture, developer enablement, and automation to reduce vulnerabilities before they occur in enterprise-scale health tech systems.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US citizen due to contractual/access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security guardrails to catch vulnerabilities early in the development process.
• Configure and enforce pipeline security gates across the enterprise so code and artifacts cannot reach production without meeting security standards.
• Deploy and manage application security scanners (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning, secret detection) across the platform.
• Develop security-as-code policies and governance for AI-enabled development tooling.
• Lead risk-based triage and remediation of vulnerabilities with focus on critical/high findings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field
