Job summary

Zermount, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to direct security tool architecture and deployment across on‑prem and cloud environments.

You will translate mission needs into designs, lead technical change, maintain standards, and guide engineers through complex delivery and troubleshooting tasks. Responsibilities include leading SOC tool integration, configuring and maintaining analytics platforms, and ensuring solutions meet policies and architecture direction.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions across systems, networks, apps, and cloud.
• Experience evaluating new technologies and validating complex security systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture, strategy, research, evaluation, prototyping, integration, deployment, and sustainment for SOC technologies.
• Design, deploy, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot security tools, sensors, analytics platforms, data pipelines, and supporting infrastructure.
• Coordinate changes through change-management processes and verify readiness before production.
• Lead knowledge transfer and mentoring for engineers, administrators, analysts, and customer personnel.
