Job summary

Zermount, Inc. is seeking a senior Emerging Technology / Cybersecurity Engineer to support a federal client in modernizing cybersecurity authorization, cloud security, and technology assessments.

This role involves conducting architecture reviews, developing security patterns, and ensuring compliance with federal programs. Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

The position is remote with occasional reporting to Arlington, VA, and requires Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, architecture, cloud security, RMF, ATO, or federal compliance.
• Experience with NIST RMF/CSF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and vulnerability management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support modernization of cybersecurity authorization and cloud security.
• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments for various technologies.
• Document risks and create ATO-ready evidence.
