Zermount, Inc. is seeking an Emerging Technology / Cybersecurity Engineer to support modernization efforts for federal clients in Arlington, VA. This senior role involves reviewing security architectures, evaluating AI risks, and contributing to the secure adoption of SaaS and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with specific expertise in federal guidelines and emerging technologies. Candidates should also be comfortable interfacing with various teams to ensure compliance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity and security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework.
• Ability to develop POA&Ms and coordinate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security architecture reviews for cloud and AI tools.
• Evaluate AI-specific threats and vulnerabilities.
• Design and support the implementation of baseline security controls.
