Job summary

Zermount, Inc. is seeking a Security Platform Administrator in the Arlington, VA area. You will maintain health, security, and supportability of operating systems, security platforms, sensors, and related software.

Responsibilities include patching, hardening, monitoring, backup/recovery, and automation while preserving documentation and lifecycle information. The role requires 7+ years in system or security-tool administration, experience with Linux/Windows environments, and strong automation

Qualifications

• Seven or more years in system, platform, or security-tool administration.
• Experience in Linux or Windows environments supporting enterprise security.
• Experience patching, hardening, monitoring, backup, recovery, and config management.
• Automation of admin/maintenance tasks using Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, operate, and maintain OS and security tools.
• Apply patches, hardening requirements, and baseline configurations.
• Monitor resources, performance, availability, and service health.
• Design and test backup and recovery processes for platforms and data.
• Automate monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, patching, and reporting.
