Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen infrastructure, cloud, and application security. You will collaborate with multiple teams to promote strong security controls, model threats, and develop automation using Python, Bash, and Terraform.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes security experience, scripting skills, and the ability to support audits and compliance efforts. Travel within the US may be required; a BS in CS or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infra, app and cloud security.
• Hands-on security of Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Automation skills in Python, Bash, Terraform or similar.
• Experience building security systems in Cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience with network security and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST, OWASP and related best practices.
• Travel within the US may be required (irregular).
• BS degree in CS or related field; relevant certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across servers, cloud, and containers.
• Perform architecture reviews and threat modeling to improve posture.
• Develop automation and tooling to integrate security across systems.
• Support audits and compliance (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from a security lens.
• Assist with external customer and vendor audits as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation outside normal hours.
