Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to help secure our infrastructure and cloud environments. You will collaborate across teams to promote robust security controls, perform threat modeling, and drive automation using Python and related tools.

Responsibilities include reviewing system designs for security posture, managing vulnerability programs, and supporting audits and compliance efforts (HiTrust, ISO 27001). Travel may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering with a focus on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to promote security controls and architectural reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and provide threat modeling recommendations.
• Develop automation using Python to integrate security systems.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud environments.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) and support audits.
