Job summary

Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security across infrastructure, cloud and applications. You will collaborate with multiple teams, review designs, and drive automated security coverage using Python, Terraform and Bash.

You’ll lead vulnerability management and assist in audits to meet HiTrust and ISO 27001 requirements. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in security engineering, hands-on Kubernetes in production, strong scripting skills, and a BS in CS or related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering with a focus on infrastructure, apps and cloud security.
• Hands-on Kubernetes/container security in production environments.
• Scripting/automation experience (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with network security and monitoring tools; CIS/NIST/OWASP knowledge.
• BS degree in CS or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP).

Responsibilities

• Promote security controls through architecture reviews and collaboration.
• Assess security posture via threat modeling and system design reviews.
• Develop automation to integrate security with various systems.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers and cloud.
• Contribute to compliance efforts (HiTrust, ISO 27001).
• Support customer and vendor audits and related inquiries.
• Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
