Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a security engineer to align security across teams, review designs, and implement automation for security coverage. The role focuses on infrastructure, cloud, and application security with hands-on work in production Kubernetes environments.

You will contribute to vulnerability management, policy documentation, and audits, while supporting compliance initiatives and on-call rotations as needed. Strong scripting skills and travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security engineering with focus on infra, app and cloud security.
• Hands-on security for Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Scripting/automation proficiency (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
• Experience building security systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks, NIST, OWASP and related practices.
• Willingness to travel irregularly within the US.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to promote strong security controls and mitigations.
• Review system designs to assess security posture and advise architecture.
• Develop automation to integrate systems and support security agent coverage.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Lead vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud.
• Design infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
• Support compliance efforts (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from a security perspective.
• Assist with security audits for customers and vendors.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including non-standard hours.
