Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to partner with multiple teams to promote strong security controls and mitigate risks. You will review designs, automate security tasks, and contribute to compliance efforts across cloud and on-prem environments.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in security engineering, hands-on Kubernetes security, scripting skills (Python, Bash, Terraform) and strong communication. Travel may be required occasionally. This role is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering with a focus on infrastructure, applications and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in cloud and on-prem environments.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS, anti-virus, authentication, log management and related security tools.
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks, NIST, OWASP and related security best practices.
• Willingness to travel within the US on a minimal basis.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP).

Responsabilités

• Align and promote strong security controls through cross-team collaboration and architectural reviews.
• Review system designs to assess security posture and recommend changes.
• Develop automation to integrate security tooling across platforms.
• Write documentation including security policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers and cloud environments.
• Design and implement security controls for servers, cloud, and container platforms.
• Contribute to security compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001).
• Support external customer and vendor audits.
• Participate in on-call rotations including outside-hours work.
