Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to drive security across teams, review designs, and promote threat modeling. You will automate with Python, Bash, and Terraform, and oversee vulnerability management and security controls across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Key focus areas include Kubernetes security, infrastructure security, audits, and compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001). This role may involve travel and requires U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field; relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP).

Responsibilities

• Work with multiple teams to promote strong security controls and mitigations.
• Review system designs to assess security posture and guide architecture.
• Develop automation to integrate security across systems (Python, scripting).
• Lead vulnerability scanning across environments (network, containers, cloud).
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
