Job summary

Luxer One, a hardware-meets-software IoT company, seeks a Senior Security Engineer to own the security program across cloud, devices, and AI agents. You will build controls, run IR, and design guardrails for autonomous systems while partnering with engineering to embed security deeply in product development.

You will lead incident response, threat modeling, and compliance efforts, ensuring ISO27001, SOC 2 readiness, and robust governance as the company scales in North America and Europe.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of security experience with ownership of IT and product security in the same role.
• Founding or first security hire experience at a startup or growth-stage company.
• Hands-on security operations depth: SIEM, IR execution, vulnerability management with real patching accountability.
• Product security: threat modeling, pen test coordination, secure SDLC in CI/CD pipelines.
• AI/LLM security experience: securing model access, auditing agent actions, runtime monitoring for autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the security program across cloud infrastructure and AI agents.
• Lead incident response and setup security tooling across IoT hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce secure SDLC and governance for AI systems.
• Develop and maintain threat models, guardrails, and monitoring for autonomous agents.
