Job summary

LMK Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own security across an autonomous robotics platform, its embedded OS, software, cloud services, and secure update pipelines.

You will design threat models, oversee device identity, run third-party security tests, manage vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and provide evidence for customer security reviews across hardware and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Own security of shipped hardware/software end-to-end across full stack.
• Write/read code; stack uses Rust, TypeScript, Python.
• Deep expertise in TLS/certificates, IAM, secrets management, Linux hardening.
• Experience with penetration testing or security assessments.
• Pragmatic threat modeling; reduce attack surfaces.
• Communicate technical truths clearly to engineers and execs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve threat model covering machine-to-cloud and update paths.
• Lead security reviews for new features; ensure evidence-backed designs.
• Oversee device identity and key custody in collaboration with OS image team.
• Coordinate independent security testing end-to-end and triage findings.
• Manage vulnerability tracking and drive remediation across squads.
• Lead incident response with SREs and engineering teams.
• Vet customer security questionnaires against real evidence.
