Redwood Trust, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity controls across identity, endpoints, networks, cloud, and data protection.

You will work hands-on with Azure, M365, and on-premises systems, embedding security into how systems are built and operated and guiding decision-makers on cost-effective security solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in cybersecurity roles including security engineering or operations.
• Hands-on with SIEM, detections, and incident handling.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across identity, endpoint, network, cloud, email, and data protection.
• Analyze risks in cloud/on-premises/AI apps and recommend controls proportional to risk.
• Operate and tune the SIEM, develop detections, and drive incident remediation.
• Lead incident response activities and post-incident analysis with urgency.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and drive remediation with multiple teams.
• Contribute to IAM architecture including provisioning and access reviews.
• Embed security into CI/CD and IaC with guardrails and secrets management.
• Secure AI/ML workloads and monitor for adversarial threats and data integrity acts.
• Perform third-party security assessments and vet new services/AI features.
• Integrate security monitoring across tools and leverage automation/AI for SOAR.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting for security technologies.
• Contribute to policies and runbooks aligned to NIST CSF and evolving AI guidance.
• Support SOX ITGC, GLBA, NYDFS 500, and SEC cyber disclosure readiness.
• Provide training on secure development and secure AI practices.
