Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is hiring a Senior Security & Compliance Engineering Manager to lead a team that builds security and compliance solutions for regulated customers. You will own the roadmap, hire and grow engineers, and drive long-term strategy across security, automation, and emerging-tech POC initiatives.

You will negotiate priorities, define team metrics, and report to senior leaders while collaborating with partner orgs to shape service offerings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing and developing security teams.
• 5+ years progressive work in software security.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience applying threat modeling or risk identification techniques.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders and C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security and compliance engineers across locations.
• Hire, develop, coach and promote engineers and managers.
• Provide tactical and strategic leadership where goals are not defined.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and reporting for senior leadership.
• Define cross-team goals and contribute to strategic planning.
• Own regular reporting to executives and partner teams.
