Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Manager, Security Assurance Solutions Architect to lead a team delivering governance, risk, compliance and security for cloud workloads. You will drive security assurance engagements with customers and AWS sellers, shaping risk strategies and compliance outcomes.

You will be responsible for developing a strategy, mentoring architects, and translating complex security concepts into practical guidance for executives and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience managing large-scale IT projects and programs.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing team delivering security governance, risk, compliance and security objectives.
• Define security, compliance and risk management approaches for customers moving to the cloud.
• Resolve security assurance questions and manage risk to achieve security and compliance in AWS environments.
• Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to influence roadmaps.
• Build long-lasting customer relationships and support Business Development and Customer Success efforts.
