Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is hiring a Senior Security & Compliance Engineering Manager to lead a team of security and compliance engineers. You will own the team’s roadmap, hire and grow engineers, and drive long-term strategy for security and automation supporting regulated customers.

Responsibilities include building scalable security solutions, mentoring engineers, and aligning cross-team goals with business priorities, including customer outcomes and enterprise-grade risk

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing security teams and development.
• 5+ years in software security or related operating environment.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Info Security or related field.
• Knowledge of web services security, cryptography, networks, OS security.
• Experience leading teams with metrics, goals, and delivery.
• Experience with threat modeling or risk identification techniques.
• Experience in multiple security domains (app security, cloud, AI security, IAM).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security and compliance engineers across locations.
• Hire, onboard, grow engineers and promote talent.
• Provide tactical and strategic management where undefined.
• Establish KPIs and SLAs to enable independent delivery.
• Define team and cross-team goals; contribute to strategy.
• Own reporting to senior leadership with clear narratives.
• Negotiate priorities and influence partner roadmaps.
• Set direction for emerging-tech proofs of concept and products.
• Identify sales opportunities; influence SAS roadmaps.
• Travel to customer sites as needed.
