Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC is seeking a Senior Security & Compliance Engineering Manager to lead a team of security and compliance engineers who create scalable security solutions for regulated customers. You will own the team’s roadmap, hire and grow engineers, and drive long-term strategy for security and automation in cloud environments.

You will mentor, define KPIs, and report to senior leadership while shaping cross-team roadmaps and influencing partner teams to achieve

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managing and developing teams
• 5+ years in a software security team or related operating environment
• Knowledge of security of web services and related technologies
• Experience applying threat modeling or risk identification techniques
• Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders and executives

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of security and compliance engineers in multiple locations
• Hire and develop talent, onboarding, delegating, coaching and promotions
• Provide tactical and strategic management where the problem is not fully defined
• Establish team structure, KPIs and SLAs to deliver complex problems independently
• Define team and cross-team goals and contribute to strategic planning
