Job summary

AWS Security Assurance Services LLC in Seattle seeks a Senior Security & Compliance Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers who innovate on security and compliance solutions, owner of the team roadmap, and driver of long-term strategy for automation and compliance for regulated customers.

You will hire, grow and coach engineers, set KPIs, report to senior leadership, and influence cross‑team roadmaps and resourcing, including travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• Experience leading security engineering teams and roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security and compliance engineers across locations.
• Define unit goals, KPI/SLAs, and maturity plans.
• Own roadmap and collaborate with partner orgs and sales.
• Report progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive POCs and end-to-end solutions for enterprise customers.
