Fortra is seeking an Automation Engineer to analyze efficiency opportunities and automate security operations processes using Python. You will review workflows, prototype concepts, and partner with stakeholders to define requirements, with on-call support for off-hours issues.

You should have 4-5 years in data analysis with SQL, 4-5 years Python scripting, and experience in the cybersecurity domain including DNS/Proxies/SSL. The role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years of software development experience.
• 4-5 years of data analysis experience leveraging SQL.
• 4-5 years of scripting experience in Python.
• 3-4 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry.
• Understanding of DNS, Proxies, Whois, SSL.

Responsabilidades

• Develop scripts and applications in Python.
• Analyze data and processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Meet with stakeholders to define requirements and provide time estimates.
• Develop quick proof of concepts to vet ideas.
• Produce metrics showing automation impact.
• Monitor applications and troubleshoot errors.
• On-call support as needed for applications.
