Fortra is seeking a software automation and data analysis professional to drive efficiency through scripting and workflow improvements. You’ll translate stakeholder needs into Python-based solutions, analyze data pipelines, and prototype proofs of concept to validate ideas in security operations.

The role emphasizes automation, metrics, and collaboration with teams focused on phishing, brand abuse, and cyber threats, with on-call support for critical applications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-5 years of data analysis experience leveraging SQL.
• Understanding of joins, indexes, query optimization and relational table design.
• 4-5 years of scripting experience in Python.
• Experience with Flask, Python packaging and CI/CD.
• 3-4 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry.
• Understanding of DNS, Proxies, Whois, SSL.

Responsabilidades

• Develop scripts and applications in Python.
• Analyze data and processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Meet with stakeholders to define requirements and provide time estimates.
• Develop quick proof of concepts to vet ideas.
• Produce metrics showing automation impact.
• Monitor applications and troubleshoot errors.
• On-call support as needed for applications.
