Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across enterprise systems. You will lead security strategy, guide technical security solutions, and partner with teams to protect information assets.

The role requires deep expertise in threat management, secure SDLC, cloud security in AWS/Azure, and strong collaboration with executives to manage risk and ensure business continuity across the logistics network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field. Masters preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role or as a cybersecurity architect.
• Extensive experience in security architecture design for enterprise environments; network, cloud, data, and endpoint security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
• Design secure IT environments and systems, including network security, cloud, IAM, and data protection; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Architect and implement security controls for on-premises and cloud infrastructure with defense-in-depth principles.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure standards and policies are met; develop governance framework.
