Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across enterprise environments. You will lead strategy, governance, and risk management while guiding teams to secure cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.

The role requires extensive experience in security architecture, incident response, and regulatory compliance within a logistics context. Strong leadership and mentoring skills are essential for shaping the security program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or closely related field; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Deep knowledge of security architecture frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and governance.
• Strong experience in risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Proven ability to design secure cloud and on‑premises environments and lead security programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with Old Dominion's business goals.
• Design secure IT environments including network security, cloud, and data protection.
• Architect and implement security controls for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments of current and emerging technologies to meet standards.
• Develop and maintain a governance framework, policies, and incident response plans.
• Lead incident response efforts and collaborate with legal/compliance teams.
