Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across on‑premises and cloud environments. You will lead strategy, governance, and incident response while collaborating with senior leadership and IT teams to safeguard critical systems.

You will drive risk assessments, manage vulnerabilities, and oversee security tools to ensure regulatory compliance and defense‑in‑depth protection for a leading LTL carrier.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role or as a cybersecurity architect.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, and encryption.
• Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with vulnerability management tools (Rapid7, Qualys, Nessus).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• DevSecOps experience and secure SDLC practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, and data security.
• Architect and implement security controls for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Conduct risk assessments of technologies, systems and software.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy, risk, and incident response.
• Oversee integration of security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management).
• Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, CCPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA and related frameworks.
• Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.
• Establish a robust vulnerability management process; remediate critical issues.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and lead incident response efforts.
• Coordinate with legal/compliance/communications for incident management.
