Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect Senior Lead to evaluate security controls across cloud, network, and applications. You will translate requirements into technical blueprints and support compliance programs with auditors and stakeholders to strengthen Akamai's security posture.

You will work with engineering and InfoSec to investigate risks and define remediation, while driving adoption of security controls using AI and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience assessing security in cloud systems, internet tech, infra, apps, and data governance.
• Expertise in PCI DSS requirements, control assessment, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Assessing cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements.
• Translating requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
• Supporting compliance programs, control assessments, and audits using Akamai's common control framework.
• Working with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks and define remediation.
• Improving adoption and monitoring of security controls through AI and automation.
