Job summary

Optimize Search Group seeks a Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to lead external financial reporting, ensuring SEC and GAAP compliance and providing guidance on complex transactions. The ideal candidate has a CPA and 7+ years in public or corporate accounting with a focus on SEC reporting.

You will collaborate across FP&A and other departments, manage multiple deadlines, and support SOX controls and policy updates in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required.
• Active CPA license is required.
• Experience with SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K) and related MD&A.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely filings.
• Analyze financial results and ensure consistency between internal and external disclosures.
• Research, document, and apply technical accounting standards and regulatory updates.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and guidance across the organization.
• Advise on complex transactions, including acquisitions and equity transactions.
