Job summary

Figma, a leading design platform, is seeking a Senior Analyst for SEC reporting and technical accounting. You will support quarterly 10-Q and annual 10-K filings, draft memos, and manage equity accounting entries to ensure accurate reporting.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with Legal, FP&A, Tax, and Investor Relations, maintain SOX-compliant policies, and stay current on SEC regulations and GAAP updates while working autonomously in a remote-friendly US setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in public accounting or in a public company in technical accounting or SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 718, 805, 350, 842).
• Hands-on SEC filings experience (10-Q/10-K).
• Excellent communication; able to research issues and document conclusions clearly.
• Autonomous, able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q/10-K) and related disclosures.
• Research and draft technical accounting memos for complex transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly equity accounting journal entries (RSUs, PSUs, options).
• Maintain equity roll-forward schedules.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly close with reconciliations and flux analyses.
• Coordinate with Legal, FP&A, Tax, Stock Administration, and IR to deliver reporting.
• Maintain SOX-compliant internal policies and documentation.
• Stay current on SEC regulations and new GAAP pronouncements.
