Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant for the SEC Reporting team to ensure accurate external financial reporting under US GAAP and focus on quarterly and annual SEC filings.

You will collaborate with auditors, legal, investor relations, and cross-functional partners to produce compliant disclosures and MD&A, while monitoring new accounting pronouncements and reporting requirements. You will also support ESG disclosures, international statutory reviews, and ad hoc reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• CPA license, or in progress (preferred)
• Experience with external reporting and SEC filings preferred
• Experience with Workiva (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements under US GAAP for SEC reporting.
• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC disclosures and MD&A drafts.
• Coordinate with external auditors, finance, legal, and investor relations.
• Maintain awareness of accounting pronouncements and SEC changes.
• Support ESG disclosures and cross-border statutory reviews.
• Prepare materials for analyst presentations and SEC filings.
• Collaborate with international teams on local statutory statements.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and process improvements.
