This role leads external reporting, ensures compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations, and provides guidance on complex accounting matters, including acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license or registration required.
• 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience; Big4/public firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SEC reporting process for quarterly and annual filings (10-Q/10-K).
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and senior management.
• Own SEC calendar and disclosure checklists; manage 16/DRP processes if applicable.
• Prepare MD&A and supporting schedules for complex accounting areas (revenue, stock-based comp, acquisitions).
• Mentor accounting team; coordinate with outsourced internal audit and tax providers.
