Job summary

SystemsAccountants seeks an experienced Senior Manager of External Reporting to lead SEC filings and external reporting with cross‑functional partners. This role ensures accurate, timely disclosures and robust governance in a fast‑paced environment.

The candidate will oversee 10‑K/10‑Q/8‑K processes, coordinate with auditors, and drive automation initiatives across finance systems and reporting workflows.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years in accounting and financial reporting, including SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements.
• Experience preparing 10-K/10-Q/8-K and related disclosures.
• Experience with external auditors and tight reporting timelines.
• Interest in process automation and reporting technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy).
• Manage end-to-end external reporting process, including statements, footnotes, disclosures.
• Collaborate with Controller, FP&A, Legal, Tax, IR, Treasury for timely reporting.
• Monitor SEC rules and U.S. GAAP changes affecting disclosures.
• Support research on technical accounting and new standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors through cycles; manage requests.
• Develop calendars, project plans, and internal controls for deadlines.
• Review outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes.
• Partner with IT/Finance Systems to optimize data flows.
