Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking a SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager to join the Corporate Controller's Organization. This role provides accounting research, supports compliance with policies, and assists in emerging accounting positions.

You will work with senior leaders across cross-functional teams and manage technical accounting assessments. You will lead M&A accounting steps, prepare memoranda, participate in filings, and help ensure SEC reporting aligns with US GAAP and IFRS where

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• CPA designation required.
• Experience with Big 4 or large public firm at Manager level.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting assessments for complex transactions.
• Provide guidance with Finance, Legal, Tax on inquiries.
• Lead M&A technical accounting assessments and journal entries.
• Conduct US GAAP, IFRS research and prepare memoranda.
• Assist with Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K filings and disclosures.
• Prepare financial data for press releases and investor info.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end closes for technical areas.
• Support internal and external audits.
