Job summary

CoStar Group is seeking an SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager in Arlington, VA, to join the Corporate Controller's Organization. This role provides technical accounting guidance for financial transactions, supports compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and helps in external reporting.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5+ years of experience, and deep knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 842/805/606/360).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• CPA designation required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting assessments for complex transactions.
• Support Form 10-Q and 10-K filings and related disclosures.
• Provide guidance on revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, and stock-based compensation.
• Assist with month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate with internal and external audits.
