Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to drive external financial reporting, footnotes, MD&A, and the annual 10-K/10-Q. You will partner with investor relations, internal teams, and external auditors to ensure accurate filings and timely disclosures.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5–7 years in public accounting or financial reporting, and strong Excel skills. Hybrid schedule with in-office days is required, with responsibilities spanning GAAP compliance and SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher.
• Master's degree preferred in accounting or finance.
• Experience with GAAP and SEC reporting research.

Responsibilities

• Review and assist with the preparation of 10-K and 10-Q filings.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to draft footnotes and disclosures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage quarterly/annual audits.
• Manage SEC reporting process and SOX controls.
• Supervise SEC reporting analyst and provide coaching.
