Job summary

RGP seeks an experienced SEC Reporting Manager to lead external financial reporting, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and US GAAP. This role partners with accounting, legal, investor relations, and external audit teams to maintain regulatory compliance and reporting efficiency.

The position involves coordinating filings, managing disclosures, and supporting SOX controls, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting. CPA preferred and 6+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred or required.
• 6+ years in accounting, financial reporting, or SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings and disclosure controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxies).
• Coordinate quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosures per GAAP/SEC.
• Manage disclosure checklists and evolving SEC requirements.
• Collaborate with legal, investor relations, and external auditors.
• Support earnings releases and XBRL tagging compliance.
• Oversee internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX.
• Monitor accounting guidance changes and implement improvements.
