Job summary

Qnity is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Accountant to own the SEC reporting processes, including the preparation and review of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q and related disclosures. You will collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, and Corporate Communications to ensure consistency with filings and coordinate with external auditors while supporting SOX controls and governance disclosures.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance is required.
• CPA is required.
• Thorough understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or SEC external reporting.
• Experience preparing and reviewing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with external auditors and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Develops, owns, and manages the SEC reporting processes and timelines.
• Preparation and review of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q, including footnotes and financial disclosures.
• Serve as a key resource for technical accounting and disclosure matters (SEC guidance, FASB).
• Monitors evolving accounting and reporting requirements and collaborates to assess impacts.
• Partner with Investor Relations, Legal, and Corporate Communications in earnings releases.
• Develops and implements accounting policies to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Assists in directing implementation of new reporting requirements.
• Examines statements for compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules.
• Develops new disclosures for significant transactions and other reporting needs.
• Assists in preparation/review of Forms 8-K, registration statements, Proxy Statement.
• Collaborate with Sustainability, Legal, and business teams on sustainability reporting.
