Job summary

Leoforce seeks a SEC Reporting Manager to lead the financial reporting function, ensure SEC compliance, and manage lease accounting with SOX controls. The role partners with auditors, legal, treasury, and investor relations to deliver accurate, timely filings.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in SEC reporting, CPA preferred, and strong Excel/finance software proficiency, with excellent communication and deadline discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of SEC reporting experience.
• Proficient in SEC regulations, GAAP, SOX, and lease accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain complex financials.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• High integrity and results-oriented with urgency.
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of SEC filings (10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks).
• Ensure financial reporting complies with SEC and GAAP.
• Manage lease accounting, including lease liabilities and right-of-use assets.
• Maintain SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for timely reporting.
• Monitor new SEC, FASB, PCAOB rules to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with legal, treasury, investor relations for reporting.
• Support CFO with special projects and analyses.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members.
