Job summary

IES Holdings is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations. You will support the consolidation process in OneStream and contribute to internal control improvements.

The role emphasizes technical accounting research, disclosure quality, and cross-functional coordination to ensure accurate external reporting for a publicly traded company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA eligible.
• 3+ years of relevant audit and accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Basic knowledge of SOX internal control standards.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K) and related financial information.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules.
• Support quarterly and annual consolidation and close in OneStream.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes with automation and best practices.
• Maintain SOX-compliant process documentation and support audits.
• Review schedules and disclosures prepared by team members and provide findings.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information for external disclosures.
• Monitor FASB/SEC pronouncements and assess impact; implement new standards.
• Conduct technical accounting/reg regulatory research and present findings.
• Collaborate on special projects and process improvements.
