Job summary

Solventum is seeking an External Reporting Analyst to join our remote US team. You will assist with quarterly and annual SEC filings, disclosures, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will collaborate closely with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, and Treasury on earnings releases and investor communications while driving process improvements and enhanced reporting controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is required or pursued.
• Direct experience in SEC external reporting or US GAAP disclosure preparation.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong organization and prioritization with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated system and process improvement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and coordinating quarterly Form 10-Q, annual Form 10-K, and other SEC filings.
• Prepare, maintain, and review disclosures and supporting documentation for external financial reports; support internal controls over financial reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors on filings and related financial information.
• Manage administration and governance of reporting systems and tools for compliant external reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, Treasury and others to support earnings releases and investor materials.
• Drive process improvements to enhance reporting, controls, and efficiency.
• Support complex accounting and financial reporting activities including goodwill impairment assessments and technical analyses.
