Selby Jennings seeks a Senior SEC Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. The role focuses on external financial reporting, technical accounting research, and SEC compliance in a transforming, public company environment.

You will prepare filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K), own disclosure areas, and collaborate with finance, legal, tax, and audit teams. A CPA and 5+ years of experience are valued, with Workiva/OneStream familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience, including SEC reporting.
• Public company experience and SEC filing processes a plus.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and disclosures.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, review, and file periodic SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Own disclosure areas, including footnotes and MD&A.
• Analyze data used in external reporting; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax, legal, and other partners.
• Support SOX controls documentation and quarter-end analyses.
• Assist with complex transactions and equity, EPS, goodwill, and intangibles.
• Lead process improvements and special projects in reporting.
