Job summary

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, a CPA preferred, and strong writing and analytical skills to communicate MD&A and financial analyses to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA license preferred.
• 3–5 years accounting experience with SEC reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX controls.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and coordination of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q).
• Manage quarter-end and month-end close with journal entries and accruals.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review sub-ledgers.
• Analyze financial results for MD&A and internal reporting.
• Research and implement new US GAAP standards and SEC rules.
• Support external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Assist ICFR testing and SOX compliance.
• Oversee accurate XBRL tagging and mapping.
