Job summary

IES Holdings, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings and supporting financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC rules.

You will support the consolidation and close processes using OneStream, drive process improvements, and ensure SOX controls are effectively documented and tested. Strong Excel skills and CPA eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• CPA eligible.
• 3+ years of relevant audit and accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Basic knowledge of SOX internal control standards.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K) per U.S. GAAP and SEC rules, and communicate findings to the Financial Reporting Manager.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting schedules, including cash flows and segment reporting.
• Support quarterly and annual close processes in OneStream.
• Lead continuous improvement of financial reporting processes with automation and standardization.
• Maintain SOX compliance documentation and support internal/external audits.
• Review schedules and disclosures for accuracy and provide improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments on external disclosures and regulatory updates.
• Conduct technical accounting and regulatory research and present recommendations.
