Job summary

Halliburton is seeking a Senior Accountant for External/SEC Reporting in Houston, TX. You will prepare and review SEC filings, earnings releases, and investor materials while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate disclosures.

You will collaborate with Investor Relations, Corporate Accounting, Legal, Tax, and other functions to support quarterly and annual reporting. Strong technical accounting research and internal control maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Requires undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience.
• Willingness to work overtime during filing periods to meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review analyses, schedules, and disclosures for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
• Support earnings releases, investor communications, and related workpapers.
• Research new and existing accounting guidance and complex transactions.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors for audits and filings.
• Identify process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
