Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced accountant to support consolidation, financial reporting and the monthly close. This role works within the Consolidation & Reporting group to deliver accurate, timely numbers for internal and external stakeholders.

You will analyze results, prepare management and executive reporting materials, and help maintain SOX controls and U.S. GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or business required.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA required.
• 9 months to 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and office applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze consolidated financial results and prepare management reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and financial analyses.
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial information.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Assist with earnings releases and SEC filings support.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, and Treasury.
• Monitor compliance with US GAAP and SOX controls.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
