Zusammenfassung

KBR in Houston is seeking a Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Accounting Policy to lead external financial reporting, develop technical accounting guidance, and strengthen the company’s policy framework. You will collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, and external auditors to ensure SEC compliance and robust internal controls.

The role requires a strong GAAP background, 10+ years in accounting, and 3+ years of leadership experience.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
10+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience.
3+ years of people management or leadership experience.
CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification preferred.

Aufgaben

Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, earnings releases).
Research, document, and communicate technical accounting conclusions for complex & non-routine transactions.
Partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations, and external auditors to support reporting and compliance.
Support SOX compliance and strengthen internal controls.
Drive process improvements in SEC reporting and accounting policy development.
Mentor and develop accounting professionals; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
