Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Senior Associate in Performance Testing within its Enterprise Quality Engineering group. You will design, execute, and optimize performance tests for mission-critical clearing and settlement systems, across multi-region cloud and hybrid environments.

Focus on failover, disaster recovery, and regulatory RTO/RPO compliance. You will build automated test scripts, integrate with CI/CD, and collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to validate

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on performance testing with LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
• 2+ years designing failover/disaster recovery tests in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Scripting in Python or Java for test automation and data generation.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and cloud-native performance considerations.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven systems for producer/consumer testing.
• SQL knowledge for test data and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance tests across AWS and on-prem environments.
• Develop and maintain LoadRunner scripts and test scenarios.
• Analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities; report findings.
