Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Senior Associate in Performance Testing to design and execute load, failover, and disaster-recovery tests for critical clearing, risk, and settlement platforms. The role emphasizes hands-on testing across multi-region cloud and on-prem environments to meet strict RTO/RPO requirements.

You will develop LoadRunner/JMeter/Gatling scripts, integrate tests into CI/CD, analyze results, and collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and development

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on performance testing with LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
• 2+ years designing failover/disaster recovery tests in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Scripting experience in Python or Java for test automation and data generation.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and cloud-native performance implications.
• Familiarity with Kafka, relational databases, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute performance tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, and Gatling across AWS and on-premise environments.
• Create, maintain, and enhance LoadRunner scripts and test scenarios.
• Analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities; generate findings reports.
• Develop automation scripts (Python/Java) and integrate regression testing into CI/CD.
• Coordinate with DevOps and infrastructure on multi-region test environments.
• Document results, trends, and findings to QE leadership.
