Job summary

The Clearing House Payments Company L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Software Developer Engineer in Testing (SDET) to join our RTP Product Engineering team. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans to ensure quality of our real-time interbank payment platform.

This role emphasizes automation, performance, and reliability in a cloud-native, distributed environment. As a senior member, you will drive testing best practices, collaborate with RTP Product and Operations teams,

Qualifications

• 6+ years as an SDET or similar, with automated testing focus using Java and Selenium.
• Design and develop robust test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, WebDriver.
• Hands-on testing on AWS cloud deployments (EC2/ECS/EKS/Lambda).
• Experience with AWS services including S3, RDS, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, IAM.
• Experience testing event-driven apps using Apache Kafka; Linux and AIX environments.
• Familiar with Confluence, SharePoint; strong Agile/Iterative development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, estimation, development, and implementation of test automation frameworks and strategies.
• Design and develop automated testing including creation, execution, and maintenance of automated scripts.
• Translate manual testing scenarios to test automation coverage across multiple products.
• Automate testing for use in a DevOps architecture.
• Collaborate with product teams and Operations; mentor junior QE on automation testing.
