Bridgewater Associates is hiring a Senior SWE, Testing to design and build scalable test automation platforms for high-performance, mission-critical systems. You will drive end-to-end automated testing, diagnose failures, and collaborate with Portfolio and Trading tech teams to ensure reliability and speed.

The role combines software engineering, testing strategy, and platform architecture with emphasis on agentic development loops and minimizing latency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in rigorous engineering environments with high standards
• 2+ years in SDET or test-architecture roles
• Ability to design diagnostic tools and testing infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving and system-design skills
• Exposure to agentic/autonomous testing tools
• Familiarity with low-latency systems and performance optimization

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation platforms for complex systems
• Develop diagnostic and validation tools across production and QA environments
• Enable end-to-end automated testing for business logic and system performance
• Support AI-driven testing workflows to accelerate development cycles
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing into the SDLC
• Improve system reliability by reducing testing time and preventing production issues
• Contribute to testing strategy evolution during platform re-architecture (OMS SaaS migration)
