Job summary

Vestmark is hiring a Senior SDET to review requirements, build automated tests, and support test pipelines for our financial technology products. You will contribute to AI-assisted testing strategies, collaborate in Agile teams, and ensure quality across releases for our growing client base.

The role requires strong Selenium WebDriver automation with Python and Pytest, experience with CI/CD tooling, and a solid SQL background. On-site in MA, with a fast-paced, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience in fintech or related domain.
• Experience with Agile SDLC tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Foundational Git and GitHub knowledge including PRs, branching, and code review workflows.
• Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and test workflow orchestration.
• Selenium WebDriver automation with Python and Pytest required.
• Basic scripting knowledge; Groovy and Ruby on Rails a plus.
• API testing with Postman or equivalent.
• Performance testing with JMeter or Locust.io a plus.
• SQL experience (MSSQL, Postgres).
• Containerized environments and deployment tooling (Docker, Gradle).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e.g., AI-driven test generation).
• Ability to work on a small team in a fast-paced environment and adapt to priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and test assets; build automated test cases and contribute to test pipelines.
• Support maintenance of test assets across releases for a growing client base.
• Apply expertise to ensure product suite meets acceptance criteria and quality expectations.
• Expand automated testing capabilities and coverage.
• Champion AI-assisted testing strategies to improve workflows and velocity.
• Evaluate AI/ML tooling to enhance testing quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate on test coverage within the Agile SDLC.
• Configure and verify CI pipelines in Jenkins and code quality in SonarQube.
• Participate in product documentation and release notes reviews.
